This design started with a morning snorkel when a green sea turtle surfaced just a few feet away, completely unbothered — a local who had watched tourists come and go for decades. The mosaic pattern follows the geometric segments of a real turtle shell, and the dotted texture adds depth that catches the light the way shallow water does. The word "Local" tucked into the art is a quiet nod to respecting the creatures who call the reef home long before visitors arrive and long after they leave.
