Story Behind the Design
The hibiscus is more than a pretty flower in Hawaii. It is the state flower, pinned behind ears, tucked into leis, and blooming wild along every roadside from Kauai to the Big Island. This design started with missing that warmth once the plane touched down back on the mainland and the temperature dropped twenty degrees. Pairing the hibiscus with hand-lettered ALOHA felt like carrying a piece of Waikiki home, a reminder that the spirit of the islands rides along even when the trade winds are thousands of miles away.
